Constant monitoring and updating of our database enables us to often bring you candidates that are not actively looking to move.</p><p>Our approach is very diligent and is centred around identifying candidates working in the right organisations doing the right job who can add value to your business. We work closely with you at the start of each assignment to ensure we fully understand the brief. This covers not only the responsibilities but also the culture of your company with this being at least 50% of a candidate&rsquo;s suitability for a role.</p><p>Once we fully commence the role we take a headhunting approach to contingent assignments, proactively targeting suitable candidates in competitor companies whilst also underpinning each role with our database. Our focus is on quality rather than quantity with the aim to provide you with 3 to 5 CV&rsquo;s for each role.</p><p>We interview all candidates very thoroughly. When we submit a candidate to you can expect their full CV unchanged by us as we believe that it's important that the CV is exactly as the candidate has written it.</p><p>In addition, you will receive a candidate overview with the CV which talks you through their career journey and offers an insight into a candidate&rsquo;s personality and perception of themselves. This detailed approach at the outset ensures relevance of candidate to your role. 94% of CV&rsquo;s we submit are selected for interview.</p><p>At interview you will find candidates who are well prepared and fully briefed on the role. We encourage candidates to do their own research about you as a company rather than feed them this information. Again, this is part of ensuring that they display the right attitude towards securing the role.</p><p>We speak to candidates as soon as possible after an interview to get their feedback and call you to talk it through. &nbsp;It is important to us that when we represent you in the market and speak to candidates about roles at your company, that we deliver all feedback in a professional and timely manner.&nbsp; If the candidate is unsuccessful from a job interview with you, we ensure they leave the process with a positive impression of their interaction with your company.</p><p>Once we get to offer stage, we work very closely with the candidate to make sure this runs smoothly, &nbsp;from the receiving and returning of the contract through their resignation and notice period. &nbsp;This can sometimes be a long and lonely time for the candidate waiting to start the new role, so we ensure we are in regular contact with them during this time. <p>I&rsquo;ve worked in recruitment since 1999 and have specialised in Asset Finance &amp; Leasing since 2002.</p><p>I founded Hunter Reid Recruitment Solutions in 2017 to create the kind of recruitment business I would want to work with myself: specialist, personal, knowledgeable and built around service.</p><p>My approach is straightforward. I listen, I communicate honestly, I&rsquo;m accessible and I do what I say I&rsquo;m going to do.</p><p>My early career included Harrods in Knightsbridge and managing the retail store at Chelsea FC. Those experiences helped shape the service standards I brought into recruitment and, ultimately, into Hunter Reid.</p><p>For me, good recruitment is about clarity, honesty and understanding both sides of the table. Whether I&rsquo;m working with a client or candidate, I want the process to feel informed, straightforward and personal.</p><p>Outside of work, I&rsquo;m married to Camilla, a headteacher. We have two daughters, Clara and Mabel, as well as Spider, our miniature dachshund. We live in Kent having relocated with Camilla's work in the summer of 2023. <p>In much the same way as when I interview candidates, I want to give you an insight into who I am and what to expect if we get the opportunity to work together.</p><p>My early career was in the retail sector with Harrods in Knightsbridge, an organisation world-renowned for having supreme levels of service. From there I managed the retail store at Chelsea FC before moving into recruitment in 1999 &nbsp;working for a US accountancy recruiter. In 2002 I switched across into recruiting for the leasing and asset finance sector which has remained the core of what I do. I then set up Hunter Reid Recruitment Solutions in 2017 with a view to creating a niche, service-centric business building on the best practices I&rsquo;ve learnt from the companies and people I&rsquo;ve worked with along the way.</p><p>Service is the cornerstone of everything I do and when I think about what service means to me, I simply ask &ldquo;What would I expect if I was sitting on the other side of the table from a recruiter?&rdquo; For me that is clarity, honesty, being accessible and doing what you say you&rsquo;re going to do.&nbsp;</p><p>Whenever I am interviewing candidates, or speaking with clients about their company and job opportunities, there are questions I will always ask;</p><p>&ldquo;What makes you good at what you do?&rdquo; and &ldquo;How would people describe you?&rdquo; &nbsp;These give me a really good insight into how you perceive yourself, and perhaps how others perceive you as well.</p><p>To answer those questions for you, I believe my strengths are in my relationship building and the ability to listen and understand both what clients require, but also recognising a candidate&rsquo;s skills and motivation. I'm genuinely interested by people, what they do and how they do it.</p><p>I think people describe me as a good listener, empathetic, knowledgeable about my markets and fun to be around.</p><p>Outside of work, I&rsquo;m married to Camilla, a headteacher. We have two daughters, Clara and Mabel, as well as Spider, our miniature dachshund. We live in Kent having relocated with Camilla's work in the summer of 2023. As far as interests, &nbsp;I love sport, with the painful affliction of being a Norwich City football fan and am also a very keen golfer having played since I was young.</p><p>What you can expect from me as your recruiter is somebody that takes time to listen and somebody that genuinely cares about the impact that I may have on either your business or your individual career journey.
