About the Role
Our client is the captive finance division of a prestige global construction equipment manufacturer that provides financial services to distributors and customers.
In the UK, they have historically provided retail finance via funding partners but are now bringing it all in-house in line with their other key European markets.
To support this, they have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to drive their financing activities in the south of the country.
Reporting to the newly appointed Country Manager, the key responsibilities of the role are as follows;
- To develop commercial relationship with all distributors and dealers and increase sales of machines by developing successful financing programs.
- To increase volumes, penetration and margin in line with budget
- Establish and maintain a positive and constructive working relationship with Distributor & Dealers
- Motivate, train and coach the distributor & dealers to pro-actively use finance as a sales tool
- For major or complex or difficult deals negotiate directly with the customer the best possible terms for the company
- Design, implement and follow-up joint marketing, sales incentive and promotional campaigns in agreement with Country Manager
- Regular information and reporting to Country Manager about main activities
- Reporting all information about commercial and financial developments, prospective clients, existing clients, competitors and the market development
- Achieve the agreed penetration and volume targets.
- Maintain and establish positive collaboration with our back-office business partner
Your Background:
- At least 5 years of sales experience in asset finance
- Knowledge of construction equipment finance
- Good knowledge of financial concepts
- Strong credit skills
- Innovative approaches and solutions in respect of packaging finance products
- Numerate and articulate, with professional presentation skills
- Good level of knowledge of excel and power point
- Business school degree or equivalent by experience

Location:
Your territory will be everything South of Birmingham
Remuneration:
Basis salary range from £61,000 - £75,000+
Car Allowance - £4,000
Bonus – 15% paid annually
Pension – 4% / 7.5% on day 1 with increase after 5 years
