Transaction Management Manager - Structured Asset Finance

Our client is a globally recognised investment bank successfully operating in a number of different areas including specialised asset finance, where this role sits.

Having recently made the decision to relocate the middle office transaction management function to London, they are looking for a dynamic and motivated manager to join the business.

This team is responsible for the operational deal preparation, execution and post-execution lifecycle management of a portfolio of specialised and structured financing.

Core Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate the settlement of new transactions and implement processes and system solutions for their successful management, monitoring and reporting until maturity.
• Through your thorough review of legal documentation, you will understand both the commercial and operational features of all transactions to ensure the deal can be effectively managed and accurately booked in systems including Oracle Lease and Financial Management and Loan IQ.
• The department runs an end-to-end service from pre-term sheet through their full lifecycle working as a key part of the deal team with sales and credit.
• Primary point of contact for stakeholders, both internal and external, working with them to deliver a premium service experience and resolve issues to ensure smooth settlement and ongoing management of transactions.

Your Experience:

• 5 or more years’ experience in an operations role – ideally in asset finance
• Experience with the format of the legal documentation governing loans and leases
• Prior experience with technology platforms for the management of loans and leases
• Excellent MS Office proficiency in particular Excel skills
• High accuracy, strong numeracy and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and as part of an international team

Location:

London - City. 4 days in the office each week.

Remuneration:

Basic salary range of £75,000 - £90,000

Bonus – annual scheme up to 30%
